Is goal setting necessary? Yes, but why do we fail at achieving those goals? 

There are disadvantages and negative effects of goal setting. Here are some questions to ask yourself:

Everyone you are competing against has the same goal - so why do some people win and others lose? 
What happens when you reach your goals? 
Do you stop?
What if you don't achieve your goals? 
Will you be happy?

We need to change how we see our goals and how to develop a better relationship with them.
